Faze2 vs The Pentagon

G'day, Yesterday I accidentally screwed up when entering the scores for last night's match, all the other wars I'd ever done my team had been on the left side of the results page, and the opposing team on the right -so - i entered the results the wrong way around, I also got one of the numbers wrong. For some reason the opposing clan have gone an accepted these invalid results:
http://league.gamespace.net.au/?sb_p...&match_id=2154
the restuls there SHOULD be

Round 1: Pentagon 6 - Faze2 9
Round 2: Pentagon 0 - Faze2 7

sorry 4 my mistake - i assume that the game scores will not be permeantly kept innaccurate due to a stupid typo, I hope this can be fixed quickly.

Cheers!

I am also sure the other side will confirm these results - we have screenshots and I assume you have server logs, to prove that this information is correct.

i understand you must dispute within 12 hours - but i did not know until this morning you could dispute by going to the forums, not by clicking 'dispute' - that was diabled because i had submitted the results.

in additionn i private messaged a ladder referree immediately after i realised i entered incorrect results (less than 1 hour after the war)

once again sorry 4 the inconvenience

Its marked on there clan website as a "LOSS"

to my knowledge we have no end of game screenshots, It would help if some of the tp clan posted in here to also say what happened.

maybe a server log would say who won, but ive never seen a server log so i have no clue if it logs that kind of info.

I guess we will have to deal with it...

Ladies and Gents please be sure to familiarise yourself with the league rules, see - http://league.gamespace.net.au/?sb_p...ns&ladder_id=9

For this thread let me quote the relevant part

"Results
Responsibility of entering correct results belongs to both teams. Each team gets one chance to enter or contest (dispute) a result after the match. Once the score has been entered by either side, the opposition has 24 hours to either accept or dispute. Once 24 hours are up (from the point of the scores being entered) and the score is neither contested nor accepted by the other side the results will be automatically confirmed by the league system. Furthermore the moment match scores have been confirmed these are irreversible under any circumstances. The onus to ensure correct results are maintained ALWAYS and ONLY rests with the teams participating, registering a dispute after a confirmation will be ignored."

yes they are indeed correct. It came as a bit of surprise to us. I thought they were feeling sorry for us, as we could only field 4 players. But yes they won, and we lost.

i understand the rules - but i PMed a ref BEFORE the results were confirmed, we tried to do something about it earlier - im not sure why they confirmed the results, both teams have admitted what really happened - cant an exception be mae in this case?

surely the weight of somebodys' competition position shouldnt rest on something like a stupid typo.

probably not looking properly before they confirmed. We had this stuff up once, and had to let it go at that. Good lesson to learn for me. Pay close attention to what ur scoring to who.

next time hey............lol

Sorry guys what Graff said is correct. Whats done is done, all that you can do is learn from this and next time take more care when entering the result and accepting it.

how about a results entry page, where your own clan alawys apears on the same side of the screen, a little consistency would be nice!
