| Left 4 Dead Series Left 4 Dead puts four human playable or AI-controlled Survivors of an apocalyptic pandemic against hordes of aggressive "Infected" (zombies). These Infected are controlled by an AI that dynamically balances difficulty and mood depending on the players' progress and situation. |

Thoughts on L4D2 so far
I haven't played a great deal yet, been more so doing server side of things, but I thought I'd get some input of what you guys think so far.
What I have seen is good (uncensored version), the new zombie characters are a fresh change along with improved eye candy.
What's everyone else think of L4D2?

Even better than the first one, more difficult though.
Full gore is just epic

Re: Thoughts on L4D2 so far
I am very impressed with the game...
Valve have done a great job in producing a fine sequel, very worthy of my money.
Perhaps, I get the most entertainment when I'm riding the Survivors as the Jockey. Particularly when the other 3 Survivors don't notice

Re: Thoughts on L4D2 so far
I think I might import this from NZ...they can do it for about $80. It's a bit steep...but, I want this game. It requires no hassles or crap with modding the game and potentially being VAC banned. The gore looks AMAZING...like, without it, it is FAR worse than the first one.

Use a VPN
Or the App_ID work-around on your censored version, but that's half-assed.
Did you miss the epic threads on the Steam forums and Whirlpool?
There were a few Yanks who felt sorry for the poor Aussies and gifted dozens of copies.

Re: Thoughts on L4D2 so far
You're out of luck for now
I asked for and got a refund on the AU version after playing the demo for about 5 minutes...
Grabbed the UK version instead

Re: Thoughts on L4D2 so far
i like the game, even though i got censored lol, the game feels way more competitive than the first one and could actually be great for competitive play *hint hint GS* :P
ive found that if you turn dynamic crosshair off the guns are more accurate too lol.
i have also heard some rumours that the first DLC will have you meeting up with the original survivors, and that you will be able to play as them in some parts of the game.
http://www.google.com.au/search?clie...utf-8&oe=utf-8
rumour or truth?
also check out the following path :P
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\expressions\survivors

Try this website instead, its where I buy 99% of my games. They're a UK company but they have a warehouse/office in HK, so you get to pay UK prices , 50 bucks free postage for l4d2.
http://www.cdwow.com.au/games/Left-4...792735#bc=8ab8
It IS a legitimate company , you'll be buying UK retail copies of games.
The only problem I've ever had with them is that occasionally they ship your orders from HK to zurich and then to aus, which can take a month :P
