Cross game voice chat in PS3 accidentally confirmed

In one of those oops moments, a developer from Naughty Dog, replied to a post on the official PlayStation forums about people using Skype in game which can cause unfair advantage. His reply was "But I will suggest it anyway. Not to mention that the next PS3 firmware update is going to allow cross game chat. So if players use that instead of in-game communication then they would also be able to communicate enemies [sic] positions..." When this was realised, the post was deleted, but word spread like wild fire. The update should be out shortly.

Interesting, wonder what the quality will be like though.
