Alan Wake is almost ready

According to Alan Wake’s developer Remedy, the game is finished and just getting polished off before release. Remedy are well known for making the games Max Payne 1 and 2 (3 is being developed by someone else), so this survival horror game should be good. It should be due out in autumn next year on Xbox 360, but maybe closer now or maybe they will work on the PC version of the game that got unceremoniously canned earlier this year.

Will this game be good after the long wait?

Re: Alan Wake is almost ready

Oh yeah - looks like an interesting horror/thriller game with good action and tension building. However I wouldn’t spend the typical and ridiculous $90 Australian price on horror/thriller games. If I learnt anything from Deadspace it's that once you become desensitised (and that actually doesn’t take too long) the game becomes just another third person action arcade. From my personal experience horror games are there to casually show your mates so you can watch their hilarious fearful reactions lol. Unless you like action arcade games and planning to finish the whole thing (if it’s your cup of tea).

But if you are anything like me - you love gory horror games

Re: Alan Wake is almost ready

So its not coming to PC?

This game was supposed to be for PC and not xbox, lol, also it was supposed to be the very first game to actually fully support multi core CPU's, well so much for that.

So yeah its your typical generic horror, just like evey other generic horror game.
